A Rolling Legacy

Rainbow Gardens has been a place that brings people together for generations.

Originally rebuilt and reopened in 1948, the rink has remained a staple in the community ever since.

For decades, it’s been shaped by the families and skaters who’ve spent time here. That history matters, and it shows in the atmosphere- familiar, welcoming, and built on connection.

Today, the focus is simple: create an experience people actually want to come back to.

From birthday parties and field trips to throwback skates, everything is built around energy, music, and a space where everyone can feel comfortable being themselves.

Rainbow Gardens isn’t just about skating, it’s about the kind of place that brings people together, again and again.

Meet The Owners

Owners

Rainbow Gardens has never just been a business, it’s been a constant.

From a young age, the rink and roller skating were simply part of Kaitlen's life. After leaving for college, she found her way back while finishing her degree, and quickly realized it was more than just familiarity, it was home.

When her grandparents stepped back during COVID, she took on managing the rink. In the spring of 2021, she went on to purchase the rink from her grandparents, continuing a legacy her family had built for over 36 years.

Later that year, what started as a simple floor update turned into a full transformation. The rink was rebuilt from the inside out, new roof, new floors, a completely redone interior, all while preserving the original trusses that connect the current building back to its 1948 reopening and even the structure that stood before the fire in the 1800s.

In the summer of 2022, Kaitlen and her husband were married at the rink, marking a new chapter and expanding it into an Event Center as well.

Today, that same foundation remains, with a focus on creating a space that holds onto its history while continuing to evolve for the next generation.
